How we select the best TV deals
We take our deal selection process very seriously. It's our job to help you find the very best TV offers available online, and to help you navigate the different options to find exactly the set you want, at the lowest price possible.
We scour all the leading retailers for the biggest TV bargains daily, including Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart. We thoroughly update our TV deals page once a week, but if we find an incredible bargain before that, we add it straight away, so you'll always see the biggest offers here.
The TechRadar team has been hunting for TV bargains for 15 years, so we know a good (or bad) deal when we see one. Checking the price history of a product is our first step in determining the quality of a discount. In our deal description, we let you know how good the deal is: we tell you if it's the lowest price we've seen, or whether we saw a better discount last month - or if we expect the price to drop further in the near future. And we tell you if we recommend one TV deal over another, too, to help you get the most bang for your buck.
We also leverage our in-house product expertise to help you find the right TV for your needs. Often the sets listed on this page have been reviewed by the TechRadar team and featured in our best TV buying guide - so where we've tested a TV, we'll share our findings. If we haven't been hands-on with a product, we'll give you our expert opinion based on its specs, price and our industry knowledge.

Where can I find the best TV deals?
You'll find all the best TV deals from biggest sales on this page. But if you'd rather search the sales yourself, try Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy first: they tend to feature the best TV deals all year round, with good stock levels on both newer releases as well as older favorites. You'll also get a full warranty and support, which isn't always the case if you opt for a cheap TV deal on an auction site like eBay.
Other top retailers to check out include Samsung, Dell, and B&H Photo, all of which offer great price matching, along with excellent warranties. Here's a round up of our favorite retailers, so you can browse the latest TV deals yourself.

When's the best time to get a TV deal?
Cheap TV deals can be found at all the big retailers all year round. Week in and week out, there's always something on sale at the likes of Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart – it's always possible to bag a bargain.
That said, most retailers bring TV prices down even further during the many seasonal sales events each year. You'll see some of the best TV deals on Black Friday in November and Prime Day in the summer - last year, a number of brand-new releases were discounted, it wasn't just older models that became cheaper - and with the Super Bowl TV sales just around the corner, we're expecting a host of new offers in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, you'll find all the latest TV deals here.
How to tell if a cheap TV deal is worth it
Cheap TV deals can often seem impressive on paper - offering a wide range of unintelligible features explained with techno-babble - but can disappoint in reality.
That's why we always recommend you evaluate a TV deal based on industry-wide accepted standards and features. Be on the lookout for HDR compatibility, 4K resolution, and compatibility with widely used smart home platforms, such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Comparing these features can give you a solid basis upon which to compare the myriad of cheap TV deals out there.
TechRadar's entertainment editor and TV expert, Matt Bolton, advises you to make sure you get a great value TV that will last; look for a few features. Ideally, you want a 'full array backlight', which will mean a brighter set that's clearer in daylight. And if you can, choose a TV with Dolby Vision HDR – cheaper sets are less bright than expensive ones, and Dolby Vision makes the most of what they can do. And be sure to check the number of HDMI ports – get three HDMI ports at a minimum, and four if you can help it, because running out of ports in the future will be incredibly annoying.
Also, compare the features and price of the model you're looking at with any newer or older versions. Last year's models can often be found at an absolute bargain price in comparison to newer models - which may only have slight iterative improvements over last year's edition, so if you don't mind skipping the very latest features, it's often possible to pick up a great TV deal for less.
